Vocational Scholarships

The Collinsville Area Vocational Center is a two-year, public vocational training center for high school juniors and seniors. Individuals, families, associations and businesses provide scholarship funds to support post-high school training for graduates of Collinsville Area Vocational Center. Eligibility and amounts vary by scholarship.

 Marilyn & Doug Huber Vocational Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established by Marilyn and Doug Huber for Collinsville High School students attending the Collinsville Area Vocational Center who are planning to pursue a career that aligns with current CAVC course offerings. There will be one $2,500 scholarship awarded each year. Collinsville CAVC students only

 CAVC Automotive Scholarship

This scholarship was established with the help and funding from Mckay Auto Parts.  This scholarship is for students attending the Collinsville Area Vocational Center who are planning to pursue a career in the automotive field. There will be up to two $2,500 scholarships awarded annually. CAVC automotive students only

Joseph Smith Vocational Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the family of Joseph Smith for students attending the Collinsville Area Vocational Center and who are planning on pursuing a career in the Automotive or Welding industries. There will be two $3000 scholarships awarded.
